golf bags for little ones
Hey all. I've got a 5 yr-old nephew in Calgary who's gaa-gaa about this game.
We're looking for a kids-size bag for the 5 clubs he's accumulated so far (putter/lob wedge/7-i/5-i & 3-w.). Maybe that's all we should be playing with??
Anyway, the only bags I've seen so far are all about 3ft long which is still too big for him.
Has anybody seen one shorter than that? Can they be any shorter without worrying about the clubs falling out
Thanks,
George

My son (who is 3) asks me to play golf every afternoon before supper.
I'm going to get him a set next year. That properly weighted kids set I've seen at Golftown.Zeemine

Steve Balser at Straight Ball Golf has some nylon kids bags for under $30 Ultra light, not much to them.

Faldo, check Loblaws. I was just at the College Square store, 3 mini kids golfs bags, they looked perfect, qbout 30" tall, less than 6" diameter, and will hold both short or long it looks like. I think it was less than $20, like $15.94 I believe. They also have junior 2-wheel pull carts for $14.98.

Good stuff, you might be pleasantly impressed, they are pretty sharp looking.
If for any reason she cannot locate one, let me know, my daughter works there and can pull one out from the back if they were put away."Friends don't let friends use Internet Explorer"

They make plenty of sets for kids, but I haven't seen 'just' bags. I bought my nephew a set of dunlops including bag for his 3rd birthday. My daughter will have her first clubs as soon as she can walk.

Hey Zoic. Thanks for the great head's up tip. Loblaws has the most beautiful & impressive kids golf bags & only $14.00 for the end of season clearance. The pullcarts looked good too but I'll check with his parents first.
I owe you a pint

You are quite welcome! I was there again today looking at drivers and saw they had some junior sets as well, with a bag too. Awesome.
I bought 2 new FTD drivers, 420cc, 10.5 degreee, only $19.44 each, and a hybrid 3i for $12.44.
You should have seen the look on another guys face when I came back from the price scanner with them and told him how much they were. Then I told him about the golf gloves being only $1.94 each, etc,,,, he was piling stuff in his cart faster than me."Friends don't let friends use Internet Explorer"
