Another newbie takes the plunge...

Hello, my name is Katherine and I'm addicted to golf.

It all started quite innocently really, back in June with a hand-me-down set of clubs and a trip to the driving range. 3 months later I have an upgraded set of hand-me-downs, new driver, new bag, and my husband is wondering why the credit card statement is suddenly listing several local golf courses.

I know I'm addicted - the end of the season is approaching way to quickly for my liking, and I'm trying to figure out how I can fit just one more game into any given week.

This is a great site and I look forward to chatting with all of you.

Hi Katherine, your solution may be more simple than you expected. Think "twilight golf" and you may find you can get a round in after work, even it is has to be an shorter executive golf course it is better than not at all, and good practice, and less expensive.

Work is definitely getting in the way! My mind keeps drifting to my last game, especially during staff meetings

I'd love to get out for a round sometime and meet some fellow addicts Feel free to PM me if you have something in mind.
