I was aware of the billed in advance, I thought you meant there was going to be another month on top of that. I will cancel in plenty of time and who knows, maybe I will even get a credit!

The same thing happened to us. We called Rogers and complained, and they said that there had been a problem with their system, and reset it for us (it took 5 days mind you), and gave us a couple of free packages for 1 year for our inconvenience. We now get the golf channel on 410 with the Digital Box, and 71 without the Digital Box. Call them and complain.

It is not available on channel 71 any longer. Just happened today.

I tuned in today too and saw that it's only available on channel 410 of Rogers Digital. Quite a shame actually. Now I gotta convince the g/f we need digital cable

I just called to @itc% about this,and the guy reviewed my bundle package.
Turns out by renewing the package,i now have digital cable,box,etc. Hi-speed internet,and cell phone for 2 bucks a month less then i was paying for regular cable?
Plus they gave me the golf channel and the sports theme package free for a year.
After the year is up i need to pay the 2.50 a month extra for the golf channel
At least im a little further ahead now

Ok. I called to raise heck about the Golf Channel and the guys say that I can switch to digital and receive 60 extra channels and I actually end up paying $4.00 less than I am paying now. Free instalation, no hidden costs. This may come back to bite me but I decided to go ahead and give it a try.
