TSN is in HD now, j'ne parle pas so I'm not sure about RDS but I'll check for you

Yep TSN is HD but RDS isn’t. Actually RDS has horrendous picture quality. French channel always get the leftovers.

I'm not sure if I (read my wife) could go on living without the HD PVR......there is something overly cool about being able to pause live TV and record every show in a series with the touch of a couple of buttons

No kidding it's really sweet. I like to record the playing lessons and watch them when there's nothing else on television. It's like having on demand television.
