Someone threw an apple at tigers ball on the 17th...
Tigers ball was headed towards the cup and someone threw an apple at his ball (you can't make this stuff up). The apple missed the ball but what would have happened if it hit the ball and knocked it off its line??? I would think they would make him re-putt it but as everyone knows... I'm always wrong

Come on guys, you know that the rules are available on-line right?
http://rcga.org/english/Rules/rules.asp
19-1. By Outside Agency
If a ball in motion is accidentally deflected or stopped by any outside agency, it is a rub of the green, there is no penalty and the ball must be played as it lies except:
a. If a ball in motion after a stroke other than on the putting green comes to rest in or on any moving or animate outside agency, the player must, through the green or in a hazard, drop the ball, or on the putting green place the ball, as near as possible to the spot where the outside agency was when the ball came to rest in or on it, and
b. If a ball in motion after a stroke on the putting green is deflected or stopped by, or comes to rest in or on, any moving or animate outside agency except a worm or an insect, the stroke is canceled. The ball must be replaced and the stroke replayed.
If the ball is not immediately recoverable, another ball may be substituted.
(Player’s ball deflected or stopped by another ball — see Rule 19-5.)
Note: If the referee or the Committee determines that a player’s ball has been purposely deflected or stopped by an outside agency, Rule 1-4 applies to the player. If the outside agency is a fellow-competitor or his caddie, Rule 1-2 applies to the fellow-competitor.

We just loved Feherty's immediate response: "He pulled it. Very poor technique on his follow-thru".
Now, was it a rightie aiming for the ball OR a leftie aiming for Tiger???
My wife is still laughing over it right now

How about Tiger
The replay from behind Tiger showed him tracking his ball and you can clearly see the apple roll across his field of vision. His head did not even move away from his ball path. Now that is concentration, it was as though it never even happened for him.
I wonder if the police found any blue paint and a passport with a stamp from Liverpool in the guys pants when they frisked him?Lefty Lucas
I am abidextrous, I once golfed right-handed and now I shoot left-handed just as badly!
