Which way do you swing ... the golf club
Left? Right? Both? Does it really matter?
Back at it.

Once I was practicing in my father-in-law's field. He has a barn. I tried to hit the broad side.... Let's just say I'm impressed when they break the glass on "Big Break" challenges.

Reminds me of a good drill:
Next time you go to the driving range bring a broken shaft or a wooden peg. Stick the shaft or the peg about 8-10 feet on the target line from where you hit balls. When you setup aim for the shaft and try to hit it with a regular swing. Then try to start the ball on the right of the shaft and try to work it to the left. Do the same thing on the other side, from left to right.
It’s a fun drill and it will make you a better-shot maker.

I find it amazing that at this point 33% are lefty. Why is it that the leftys resist club hoing? Is it an availability issue? This poll is way off of my expectations.

I'm a lefty, but I can swing ok RH. I can probably shoot in the 60s right handed.... for 9 holes.

Out of my regular 4 or 5 golfers, 3 of us, including me, are lefty's.

I wonder if it has an impact mechanically. I'm right-handed, but every sport I play, I swing left. Although I have a pretty heavy slapshot, I'd presume that an equally strong right hander with a similar technique who shoots right would generate a bit more power from the shaft due to using their dominant hand. I guess the hands are so close together on a golf club, and there's so much more rotation involved in loading the shaft that it's a non-issue in golf...
In any case, you can sign me up in the left - poorly group. If you're gonna walk on thin ice, ya might as well dance.
