Callaway XTT Precision's feel like slippers. They're $250 but well worth the cost for the shoe you get. I've never felt a more comfortable golf shoe.

Notwithstanding my problems with my last two pairs, my Ecco's are really comfy. Before them I wore Adidas, and probably still would be if the Tour 360s weren't so fugly.

I got the Etonic Men's Dri-cushion Saddle from SportChek, two weeks ago on sale for $40. Looks like they're still available for $50.
Felt great after one round of golf, much better than the Footjoy I had.

Don't be so down on Nike. What specific brand models have you used? I bought the Nike Sp-7's and couldn't rave more about a supportive yet cushioned ride.
Besides those I recommend Oakley's. Not as well known or popular, but their neck-tye 2.0's are like slippers for my feet. Have two pair."Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual"

Has anyone tried out the Footjoy GelFusion II shoes yet? I cant find a decent review on them and I found a pretty good ebay auction for a pair.

Sharkhark: I have 2006 SP-5. I hate the sole.
Scottycameron and Covanant: Going to Chuck Brown's this PM. Will look for the FootJoy DryJoy Pros. Went to CB's. Thay do not carry DryJoy Pros.
Appreciate suggestions. I now change my shoes after 9 holes otherwise the second nine is misery.Last edited by mcgoo; 07-11-2006 at 05:30 PM.

Depends on your foot shape and characteristics, a properly trained salesperson can make a huge difference whether you get the right shoe for you. I used Adidas for the past two years and hated them, but I'd bought them after only a walk around the store. This time I spent some time trying on various brands with a salesperson and ended up with FootJoy Contours. They've been a hundred times better for me than the Adidas were, but that doesn't mean they were bad shoes, they were just bad for me.

Prospector Hiking sandals, roomy (AND ADJUSTABLE), lets your feet breathe, great stability with these hiking model, little rubber squares all around the edge at the bottom, like snow tires sorta.
Most people refer to them as Wet Joys though, dunno why?[COLOR=DarkRed]"Friends don't let friends use Internet Explorer"

The big issue is to make sure whatever shoe you buy fits properly. I was watching TGC one night and they had a guy on from Foot Joy. He was showing the proper fit for golf shoes, I bet far too many golfers do not wear a properly fitting shoe.My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

I had a pair of Etonics a couple years ago and could hardly get around the course without bloody blisters. They never fit my feet right. Now I swear by my addidas...Next pair might be the stylin' 360's.

I switched both pairs to Footjoy LT's and they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. If you are going to the states or have friends you can pick them up for $70 or less at TGW.com. Beats the $200 at GT!
