    how to remove paint fill in irons

    i was just wondering how to remove paint fill in my irons if it is any help they are titleist.

    I use nail polish remover and a dental tool used to remove tartar. Very effective.

    Do you just want the paint from the grooves or all of it?

    If you want it all gone, soak the head in acetone and wipe away. Be careful not to mess up the ferrule doing this.

    If it's just the grooves you'll need to scrape it out with a fine pointed X-acto knife or needle.

    IMHO, that would look like ass.

    I always take the fill out of my irons.

    LOL! Nice John. I have seen paintfill done in white and I would have to agree with above statement. It just doesn't look right.
