Trade ins
Curious if golftown does trade ins or deals of the sort on their new clubs? I'm pretty sure chuck browns does this, if not someone please correct me! Also, how do they determine values of the trade in clubs?

I haven't traded in a club in quite a while at an Ottawa store. Chuck's used to give by far the best value but they've had to change their trade in policies significantly since GolfTown came to town and Chuck's closed lost most of their locations.
GolfTown does take trades, however they've never offered me anything on a potentital trade in item that I would accept .
Best option these days is to sell them on this forum IMHO.

I find Chucks, GT and Nevada Bobs all go pretty closely by the PGA Value guide. http://valueguide.pga.com/ When you trade, you also get the pst/gst value on top, so add 14% to those figures. Last year in October or November, GT had some deal where they added 20% to the value of your trade-in.
But I agree with Reid, the forum is definitely the best way to buy and sell used clubs in Ottawa.
