New to Ottawa... What a great forum!
Hey Folks,
Just moved here from Nova Scotia. I'm a certified golf fitness professional (in-home and office), and look very forward to another great business here in Ottawa. I'm really loving the friendly local people, and beautiful city.
Drop me a line to say hello!
All the best,
Bridget (the Bluenoser)

Based on the number of people on this forum (and the ridiculous number of man-hours spent on it), your business is going to thrive. Good luck and welcome.

Took the game up on my 65th Birthday. This is my third summer and I am now playing in the 90's regularily. Going to NS the last week of this month to play at the most beautiful course in the World, Chester.

Wellll... if you're going to Nova Scotia to golf...
A few years ago was the Golf Fitness Trainer at Fox Harb'r Golf Resort (AND the house singer a well). Have you golfed there yet?
It's very beautiful (Stunning rooms/views, upscale spa/gym, outstanding restaurant, etc.)! Owned by Ron Joyce of Tim Horton's fame.
Here's the link: www.foxharbr.com
Check it out if you've not already, though I do agree Chester is gorgeous!

just give 'em a call... seems to me they're not private now, but rather a 'stay and play' this summer (that was the idea at Christmas time when I was there) Call them at Reservations: 1 866-257-1801
...and let me know!

Just called them. Expensive, $800 plus tax a night for two including golf mid week. Golf is $200 plus tax a round mid week.

Wow! It's gone waaaaaaay up! Must be trying to weed out the 'average joe'. I know they have certainly had a number of famous celebrities playing there since it opened (The Bushs, Clinton, Woods have played; Anne Murray and Bobby Orr have their own lockers there, etc.).
ah well.

Hey, i'm happy to see some Bluenoser's around here. I've been a lurker on the forums since January when I moved here, just not much of a poster. Golfing a lot again now since I finished university in December and I can afford it again, (25 rounds this year so far!). Still working to get back into the form I was in as a junior golfer but having a lot of fun doing it! Cheers!

Oh God No! I just feel that everyone should experience thotho's antics at some point or another. I can't help but laugh when I read the posts. Especially the one about cleaning clubs in the toilet.
I'm from Toronto/London, friends with GolfBum (Rick) and M_Portiss.

I see, but I have to tell you, I've played two rounds with him and I've been utterly disappointed. Not one out of the ordinary, crazy or zany thing to talk about. What a let down.

thotho has a knack for getting involved with very unusual situations on the course. One involved peanut butter.
I am gonna kick his butt around my course tomorow. Should be fun!

Bridget--I have never met "thotho" but some of his posts are better than the old comic strips---you have to read the peanut butter one---click on his avatar and start
searching. Have fun. Welcome.
