Question about Golftown
Every once in a while, Golftown put a bunch of their demos and trade ins up for sale. And what a sale!
Does anyone know if there is a pattern to when and how often they do this? Does it happend every 1st weekend of a month or something like that?
Thanks,

I know they have a big demo sale every November, and the clubs unsold in that sale usually last well into the winter. I haven't seen demos at GT other than at those times, but I'm not out there very often. I believe all of the trade-in clubs are shipped to Global Golf in the states for resale on eBay.

I was there a the Friday before father's day with a friend and they had put a bunch of clubs up for sale at amazing prices. Needless to say they did not last long:
Ping G2 fairway woods $25
Titleist 503H $25
Callaway Big Bertha 04 fairway woods $50
I think they had stocked up the used club department that day and people were gobbling them up.
So I think it happens more often than we think, it is just a matter of figuring out a pattern, if such a thing exists.Proud member of the 2009 Ryder Cup winning team

Wow, those are awesome deals. The November sale is never anything like that. I think I remember in March the dregs of that sale were still in stock, including a totally skied and marked up Cobra SZ 3 wood for $130. I think the MP-001 fw were the best deals at around $80.

For people who can't wait, there's always bunch of woods and irons at the simulators section with substantially reduced price..

Anyone know if there is any warranty by GT on these "used" clubs?

Any warranty would be from the manufacturer and those vary on demo clubs. If it had a serial number, it probably would be warranteed.
