    Obtaining a Practice Mat

I'm looking to purchase, for personal home use, a practice mat primarily for iron use. I've searched the net but only found US suppliers. I would like something that minimizes wrist, elbow, and shoulder shock. If anyone can recommend a preferred synthetic turf from a Canadian supplier, it would be appreciated. Getting to an indoor range for a few minutes is not always practical. Thanks

    Question just a thought

You may want to call any of the driving ranges in the city (indoor and outdoor) for a used mat. They may even give you one.

If not they could direct you to someone who can hlep you get one here.

    In Ottawa:

    Hitting mat 4x4 $127.95 canadian
    Hitting mat 1x2 $42.95 canadian

You can p.m me if you want the local phone number. As Steve mentioned you can get used ones from driving ranges. I have about 6 that I got for free and they are in decent condition. The best time to ask is early spring or late fall. Hope this helps.

    Talking Hitting Mat

Thanks to all those who replied. I'm sure I'll find something suitable. Now, if it will only improve my game
