Turning a 65g shaft into a 75g shaft
Is it possible to do this? I have a 65g aldila NV (stiff) and I want to switch to the 75g shaft but instead of selling this one, losing money on it and then paying more shipping and taxes on the 75g shaft, is it possbile to just increase the weight of the shaft? Someone told me to just put led tape around the shaft above the hossel but wouldn't that mess with the swing weight? Is there any reason to evenly distribute the weight over the length of the shaft?

Adding lead tape to the bottom of the shaft will increase the swingweight. If you're adding weight that way you're probably better of adding the weight on the clubhead.
You can also add lead tape under the grip, which will make the swingweight lower.
