I don't mean to jump on you specifically, it just happens you've hit one of my hot buttons.. A player deserves to win when they win. To say beforehand someone deserves to win is ridiculous, in my books. Sure, you can want a guy to win because its a good story, or he's been through tough times, or because he's put in a lot of work, but ultimately, the winner deserves to win. Tiger does not deserve it any more than anybody else out there. I deserve it as much as him at this point, (if not more ). What has he done to deserve to win this weekend? Take the last month off in preparation? Again, don't want to sound like I'm attacking you, this is just the kind of talk that always gets me. Have you ever noticed in all tournaments, they will start coverage on the popular players or the leaders, and then if the popular players are playing horrible, they cover whoever is playing well.

Yet despite the HORRIBLE play of Tiger Woods, they still continue to show EVERY ONE OF HIS SHOTS!!! STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS DONKEY!!

Well he has finished at +12 and Steve Stricker has also finished at -1 so it would take a rash of really bad scoring from a large number of players to save Tigers bacon. I think it is very likely he will miss the cut. Well done Jonf and faldo!
