Sat 6:52 AM @ Mountain Creek
Have a foursome booked. As of know its myself and el tigre. Wilster might be joining us, but will know more tomorrow or Thurs. So for now, just looking for one. Any interest playing with a hack and el tigre and possibly Wilster?

Terry. Great way to take the pressure off yourself.

Hello,
el_tigre gave me a quick invite so I guess I am in.
Just so you all know a little about me, since I didnt cover much in my intro. I am a university student at UNB in Fredericton New Brunswick. I just finished my 3rd year in computer science. I moved to Ottawa on April 27th (first time here ever) to take an 8 month work term position with Statistics Canada. At my peak last season I was a 3 handicap, but I have only played 9 holes so far this year, so I will be about a 20 on Saturday, especially that early in the morning and playing a brand new course.
Cheers

I read that it is half an hour away from Kanata. But I dont know what direction. Not sure where stittsville is.
I wouldn't worry about the 3 handicap though, I left that back in the Maritimes.Last edited by Darin_CS; 06-07-2006 at 05:49 PM.

Darin, get on the Queensway and head west, towards Kanata. Keep driving until you come to White Lake Rd (about 30 mins past Kanata). Take a left there (you will see a building called Antrim Truck Stop on your left). Down the road about 5-6 km you'll come to a road with a yellow and green sign propped up on a small hill (Mountain Creek golf course sign). Turn left there. If you go too far you'll see the golf course on your left, turn around and go back to the road and turn on it. You're there. See you early Sat morning.

I hope the pins are in the woods.
Maybe I could hit some greens then.

Weather Network says cloudy, EC says periods of light rain - probably be like today. Looks like a chilly morning for June, though.
I'm still in. After Le Sorcier, I can play in anything now!Golf is a game invented by the same people who think music comes out of bagpipes.

I have no problems playing the rain anyway. Some of the best rounds of golf I have ever played were in the rain, so bring it on.
Tiger, you clear on the route to my place?
Cheers

Sounds good, I recomend giving my cell phone a call when you leave to get me. Just because it will be extremely early in the morning for me, I have a hard enough time getting up for 8 to go to work every day. But I imagine I will be pretty excited to finally get a round of golf in that I will likely be up in time.
Did you get my email with my cell # in it?

You'd be second in line buddy. My friend from Arnprior already expressed interest earlier today. But I'll let you know.
