Dudes, somebody make him an offer for these. Double nickel chromed CB forgings with Sensicore shafts. Zero offset. A superb player's cavity-back iron.

Nice looking clubs and great shafts...they remind me of the TaylorMade CBs at a fraction of the price...

Are these forged or cast?
Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

Pretty sure all Maxflis were cast except the Australian Blades. Just a very soft casting though.

I believe that the Rev black dots are forged and the red dots are cast.

I have the SW in the black dot and it doesn't say forged on it. I think it says mulit-layer or something like that. However the SW feels nice.

Both the Rev's and the Aussie blades were cast from nickel and chrome plated. Very, very soft. I had a set of the blades and they were softer than any forging I have played, Miura and Mizuno included.

They are very soft. I think where the confusion comes is that the Red dots were slightly larger and had more offset. A lot of people thought they were cast while the original black dots were forged. In fact both were nickel cast and chrome plated. I've had both and they ding up even easier than most forged irons.

I've heard the same thing Reid. But judging by doglezard's pics these are in great shape and a great deal. Somebody will be real happy with these.

I read about a US California based company that does complete fitting analysis and unlike most outlets, they don't necessariliy fit you with new equipment. Sometimes they recommend older models.
During the fitting the reporter got fitted to maxfli revolution black dot irons. Changed his game. Apparently these were very common as a fitting recommendation for ultra forgiving cast with soft feel."Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual"

Would you be interrested in trading for MacGregor Tourney's PMB forged 2-pw with True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts -..Standard lie/loft/length...Lamkin cord grips shafts that I purchased from the Saint but I have never used?
