I would take an ugly swing and great scores as opposed to a pretty swing and bad scores. Unfortunately, I have an ugly swing AND bad scores, a terrible combo!

Fundonny if I were to wear any shorts you wouldn't be able to even see my swing cause the glare from those white legs would blind you, or at least cause minor retinal damage

Sunglasses my friend! If they can block out the sun, they can block out the legs! LOL

I was practice swinging before the first tee yesterday looking at myself from the reflection off of the pro shop window when I noticed that my swing looked very familiar. I then remembered,oh ya looks a lot like Charles Barkley swinging after 5 cups of coffee sorry Charles I shouldn't put you down like that, my swing wasn't quite that good

My swing was very pretty, (at first glance) but when I saw it on video, with a slight overturn, then early release, left arm caving in somewhat. I didn't think it was pretty anymore I have been working on these issues, particularly the lagging clubhead and flat left wrist, but sometimes when you change some things you create other issues. So I am sure when I look at my next video I will have different things to work on. Does it ever end??? I guess my nature of wanting to get it right is why golf can be so obsessive. That elusive goal.

People told me that I had a nice swing when i used to play everyday a few years ago but since I now only play once a week I have an ugly swing that gets me nowhere. Time to call a pro for some lessons.

I've just checked out a book from the library called Tour Tempo... there was a comparison between Els vs. Nick Price whom has a much quicker tempo, but Els has higher swing speed, go figure!

Forgot to add, depending on where the shot goes determines how much coarse language will follow. And if really bad perhaps some violence as well. But pretty sure my swing is violent enough.

You pretty well know you have a violent swing when others in your foursome tell you after your swing "Nice ball......Now pick up your spikes and get the hell off the tee"

i was at haime's range today between 1 and 2 pm and there was a fella hitting balls who had a fantastic swing... he was absolutely puring the ball... there are ugly swings that produce great results, and pretty swings that get you no where... this guy had the best of both worlds... great tempo, excellent balance, solid finish... and the sound the ball was making coming off the club was outstanding...
