    Smile New Member "Hello"

Hello, all fellow Ottawa (and area) golfers. New member to OttawaGolf.com and looking forward to learning all about golfing in Ottawa and how to manoever around this web site. Bio: Retired, age 55, love to golf, but not that good (yet). Shooting in the low 100's and hoping to make low 90's by year end. Spent two winters at OAC Golf school and play 2X week and driving range once. Interested in any info on recent trips to Myrtle Beach SC. Went this April for second year and hope to make it an annual event. Would highly recommend Myrtlewood, both for golf (Pine Hills and Palmetto) and the condos. Centrally located and inexpensive if shared with three other golf nuts. I'll reserve my "travel" comments to that page and hope to enjoy further posts for a long time to come.

Welcome and I second your recommendation to play Palmetto when in Myrtle.. I haven't played the Pin Hills course but Palmetto was one of my fav. courses we played while down there this spring..
