well I think you should do it for the following 2 reasons.

1. If you trade it for golftown credit then you HAVE TO buy golf stuff and your wife cant stop you.. what is she going to do? make you save it till next year?

I have found a way to unlock it and can try tonight do you currently have a sim card for telus???

well i dunno if its a sim card or not, i dropped my phone in water and since then it doesnt work, when i took the battery off, theres no place where a card could come out, just #'s

you would have to check with telus to see what they would charge you for a sim card (GSM) to activate the phone, usually not much, but looks like unlocking it is easy so it will work with telus pretty easy

I don't have any pics but the link above shows the phone, its in almost perfect condition just a couple of wear marks from being carried but you can only see them if you really look and just so you know i was able to unlock it so it can now be used on any network including telus.

I didn't think telus was GSM... if the aren't then you can use a rogers phone on a telus network... locked or unlocked, doesn't matter

no you can only use telus phones on telus. I tried getting my rogers phone switched over to telus a year or so ago... not that any cell phone company is different.. they all rape you on the bill.... but atleast it seems telus buys you dinner first
