i was just wondering if there is any place on the web that anyone knows of that has all the scotty vintage putter details. Iam looking for the studio stainless if anyone know the loft and lie angle of it please tell me thanks.

I've wondered how beat up a scotty could the studio refinish for you?

Mine is getting to be needing the refinishing treatment. does that mean I can start abusing it a little in the fall?

I wouldn't get to carried away.. Though I have seen some in pretty bad shape come back looking great.. Look around on cameroncollector.com.. You will find some pretty beat up before and afters..

The trick is to avoid deep gouges....they remill and grind down roughed up areas, so if they are really deep you might be SOL.

FYI, if you don't care about getting a COA, get it done by putter platting, Slighter etc... much cheaper. (NEVER for a sellable collector item though, as it will come back w/ a B or C COA for after amrket refinishing and kill the value)

Thats interesting Nat, I remember reading a positive referral about a putter plating service on a previous related thread. Anyone have a link? I will try and post some pics of my 2.5, the sole has scratches, but the topline developped a couple dings when I forgot to slip the hc on before dropping it in the bag.
