JD on JD Ramblings...
Anyone read the golf channel excerpts of john daly's upcoming book.
I repeat my comments on previous threads. The guy in my opinion doesn't deserve pity. He has now added gambling, to alcoholic, violent outbursts, walking off courses mid round.
Anyone who continues to say he doesn't have a drinking problem cuz he doesn't drink the hard stuff anymore? is a liar.
Anyone who say's he is better because he doesn't trash hotels as much anymore?
Here's link and a few excerpts:

Daly three-putted from 15 feet on the second playoff hole against Woods at Harding Park. He headed to Las Vegas and lost $600,000 within 30 minutes. He said he took out another $600,000 line of credit and lost that in two hours.
Daly says he has taken more control of his life in the last six years.

I almost find it hard to believe he has spent that much given his Career earnings is $8,776,552. Yes, he has earned lot$ in appearance fees and endorsements, but this seems exaggerated.

In a golf magazine article last yr, they had his total take for 2004 at $21 million. Multiply that times all the years on tour since british open, pretty easy to lose 60 mill over time."Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual"

In ratios lots of people lose similar amounts. I guess it's all about your perspective and value for a 1$.

i.e. walk in with 500K. Win 500K, then lose all 1M.
"I just lost 1 Million Dollars!"
when he has a losing session he could easily be counting what he is @ when he leaves minus what he was @ at the highest point as his loss, as opposed to what eh lost from his pocket.NCGT Ryder Cup Team Green (06,07,08)
