Does anyone know of any leagues in London that you can still sign up for without being a member?

You can play in the MEN"S NIGHT at Westminster Trails without being a member. You would have to pay 9 hole green fees every week though. Cost of joining the Mens League is $30, which goes towards the year end banquet and prize table. Weekly costs are $10 which includes skins, 2 closest to the pins and payouts of gift certificates for the Pro Shop at The Trails, and 50/50. Depending on the # of guys each week the prize money is split between the Top 5-8 guys. They use a hidden hole concept for net score. 3 holes are picked at random. Whatever your score is above par on those holes, up to double the par for that hole (Par 4, you can have an 8) then they times that amount by 2.5. So let's say you have a double on each of the hidden holes, you would have 15 strokes taken off your gross score.
We just had our first week of the year last Thursday. Tee times start at 4 PM every Thursday, and run until 5:30. You can show up and the check in guy will pair you up with someone. Nice way to meet some golfers.
Last week the 50/50 was $80
Closest to The Pins was $30 X 2
Three Skins @ $20 each.
