Ottawa golf trip...

A bunch of friends of mine are coming from CALI and the UK and they want to play a ton of golf while they are here. They are looking for a golf package to get discounted rates to golf courses. I told them the courses I would take them to will be pretty cheap anyway but they want to go via package. Does anyone know if that is even possible? Do people come to Ottawa for golf trips LOL? I've never head of a single person. Anyway, glen mar, greensmere, manderly, meadows are all good courses that are under $40 and if they want to spend a little we can play a ton of other courses. 7 days 7 rounds at most would cost $350 each. Anyway, anyone know if there is someone who can arrange golf package that has discounted golf rates? Thanks


NOTE: they are coming regardless and are fine with the $350 I told them it would cost but if they can save money they would like to since they are spending money on their tickets

I don't think Ottawa has the golf recognition for packages, even though we have more golf courses then almost any other city. I love this city to death, but the NCC really does need to learn how to market the city beyond the canal, tulip festival and canada day.

I would also recommend a 30 day membership in the OttawaGolf Club. You pay $50 for the membership, and then $15-20/round. By the third round, you've paid for it, by the seventh you've saved a fair bit.

I second the Smuggler's Glen recommendation. Even if you do the 2 night package - $144 per person per night ($164 on weekends) gets you 2 nights accommodations, 36 holes of golf with cart, and breakfast and dinner each day. The course is a beautiful layout and located conveniently between Ottawa and Toronto.
