where are you getting your sources? Blogs?? I highly doubt that Toronto will land him, i would think there are many teams that he would go to before Toronto. Chara is not really a Johnny Damon, and doesn't really need to play on a poor team just to get the big money, he can get top dollar from teams that are contenders, which sounds much more appealing than on a rebuilding team.

What happen to Toronto keeping its golden child McCabe? Chara seems to have enough money that he can choose to play for a contendor like Ottawa for less money than a rebuilding team like Toronto, like Selanne and Kariya did. Really hope that they keep Chara in Ottawa, but if they have to sign only one, i can see it being Redden and not Chara.

Chara is a FA and can go to toronto if he wants and if toronto is willing to pay. As I've maintained for a year now.. ottawa cant keep that team together next year. The cap won't allow it. Some contend that ottawa is better off keeping redden and letting chara leave. Should be a very interesting to see how this plays out. If toronto knows they can get chara for a little more than mcabe that would be stupid to take mcabe. I'm hoping they take chara and no redden... the guy is huge and a good player. I say lock him up

Thankfully, no not all do. I sometimes see some intersesting groups of users sharing an IP. Banning IPs is a pretty heavy handed thing, but it is tempting sometimes.
