Gotta love early season golf.. Consistancy at its best

Well had a great roller coster round last night... I was 9 over par through the first 7 holes.. Then played the next 11 holes 3 under.. Finished it all up with a double on 18 for a -1 on the back and a steller 78.. Its amazing how inconsistant you can be this early in the season!!

    Not me:

    81, 75, 80, 81, 82, 82

Other than that 75 I'm right around the same number everytime. But it should be around the lowest number. Stupid short game.

I hate my short, mid and long game. WHen one is working alright one of them is non existent than again I guess that's expected if your games for the year are ~ 109, 105, 99, 102, 103, 50, etc etc... Played 10 rounds so far and most of them are around the 100 mark. 2nd Full year of golf though if I get into the low 90's I'll be a happy camper.

Shanks were gone first time I stepped on the course. Must have been a brain cramp at the range that day. Thank god they are gone though. Probably the most frustrating thing to happen to me when I play. I'd rather not get the ball up in the air than have the shanks.

Hope you get out before the 20th Indio. You're going to need your best game to keep up with me at Le Sorcier.

If you are playing to an 8 or 9 cap from the tips, I haven't an ice cube's chance in hell of keeping up with you! I guess I could always carry your clubs that day!

I play between an 8 and 11 cap but that is from the regular tees, not the tips!

That was tongue firmly planted in cheek BTW! I'm a 5.5 at my club, according to the computer anyways. But usually can play about 7-10 over at a course I've never been to before. There is no substitute for course knowledge. Will be playing Le Sorcier on Monday so I'll have an idea of what its like come the 20th. But regardless of what tees you play, anything around a 10 is more than respectable Indio.

Gee, what gave it away that it was 'tongue in cheek'... oh ya, maybe all the laughing emoticons!

So 10 is acceptable but if I do 11 your going to rag my ass? OK, cart girl.... a few coors for my friend the 5.5 here please.....

An 11 is only respectable. 10 is more than respectable.
