Le Sorcier
Anyone play Sorcier yet. Wondering how the conditions are because they're charging full price to play.

Conditions?
I'm sure someone played here this season. I have a time for Saturday wondering about how well the greens faired out and if it is very wet. There charging full price so i would hope that it is good shape. They finally have the slope and rating on the card now, in only took two years..

It's a great course, give them time to perfect the other stuff.

They are not charging full price until May. I just booked a tee time for tomorrow and one for sunday and the starter quoted me 50$ with cart.

Good to be back there for sure. The fairways were great in most areas and have that "fresh cut look:
There are a couple of tee decks closed (on 2 and 3 for sure and couple others as well).
Greens were rolling but were S L O W
Not the Sorcier you know and like BUT they were still beter than some greens we play around town.
IMO - If you only play the course a couple of times a year, wait a couple weeks for them to cut some of the greens and move the tee boxes back. But if you play it often enough and dont mind some minor inconveniences, it's woth itI've spent most of my life golfing .... the rest I've just wasted"

In great shape on Friday 21.
Not very crowdy for a Friday. Seen worst.
The dry weather of wed-fri has been great to the fairways and the crews have been able to cut the fairways to summer conditions. Except for no 3, all fairways are in top shape. Greens shaving has not all been completed yet some are in shady areas and remain fragile.... and will probably be relatively slow until May if it is like last year.
The crews have done a lot of bush clearing on the back nine and built some new tees on 2, 3 and 8. It is not clear as to when they will be opened. If you bury my ashes on a golf course, just make sure that they are out of bounds, that will be a natural continuation to my life

Anyone play Sorcier this week, playing Saturday afternoon, wondering what kind of shape it's in after the good/bad weather.

Another question, is there a driving range at Le Sorcier?

Played le Sorcier on the weekend...
Course was really wet but in good shape. They don't have a driving range there.

No there is no driving range. Conditions are very nice, the fairways are all green and very well groomed. The greens are in good shape but putt very slow because they haven't cut them. Some tee-boxes on the front nine are closed and are combined with the reds. It makes the front nine play somewhat short. Overall I was impressed with the conditions for the timke of the year. I guess it can only improve which is very promising.
