    Cloverdale Opening

    Anyone know when Cloverdale links is opening; or is it open already?

    They opened before this past weekend. I was there on Monday. Course is in pretty good shape. They were charging full price though.

    Full Price? Why is anyone surprised by courses charging full price? Are the courses overcharging for their spring conditions? Sure -- you don't have to pay it though. Maybe it's just me, but I think, in Canada, that playing before May 1st -- you're taking your chances. If the courses charge full price and the people flock to the course (and pay it) then more power to them. However, if you phoned them and told them that you'd rather not pay full price -- maybe we'd see spring prices for spring conditions.

    just my thoughts.

    Actually, looks like we were overcharged as we were charged $34 for a tee-time after 2pm which should have been $31. The course was empty though.

    Conditions weren't horrible, so I guess they can justify the fees. The greens were in great shape for this time of year. Nothing worse than paying full price for temporary or un-puttable greens.

    Its OPEN. A friend Played there last Sunday and he said it was in good shape.
