Talking Bit of a fun thread!

With all this talk of what's in member's golf bags, be it good or bad, thought I'd start an interesting thread. When you look at someone's signature that has what clubs they are playing, who's do you think is the nicest? Now I don't necessarily mean your favourite clubs, just from your personal knowledge of seeing clubs, who has the sweetest looking set up? My top three are as follows:

    1) davevandyk
    Driver:
    TaylorMade R7 425 Re*ax 65 Stiff
    Woods:
    B'Stone J33 15* & 18* with Accra SC75 M4
    Irons:
    B'Stone J33 Combos
    Wedges:
    Vokey 252.08 & Cleveland 588 60*
    Putter:
    Titleist Studio Stainless Newport Beach
    Ball:
    Titleist ProV1X

Followed by The Saint and then John.

    How about you?

You're going to have to decide then Colby.

Denny, yours, scotty's and Nat's were next in line. That Bridgestone stuff just looks so purddy!

Geez guys, I guess I haven't been in the club long enough. Thanks for including me in your lists.

JK, my stuff is old and weathered. Looks good on paper, not so much in person. Will be refinishing the driver and you all know about the plans for the irons. Once all that is done then we'll talk.

You can't be in the club until you have played at least 5 rounds and have your clubs for at least 1 month. I think you should look into joining another club Geoff because I just don't think you can meet the criteria!!!

NWILLIAM's bag is unreal. As a lefty, his sticks are everything I wish I had in my bag. Especially if he still has the American Classic Scotty putter. Scottycameron's got some nice stuff, but it's all the wrong way.

Well what's your criteria? Cost? Make? Age of clubs? Looks? Everyone has their preferences, I find this very difficult to answer.

No criteria its just who's bag has equipment in it you'd like to play or have if you didn't have your own i guess.

Personally i'd have to go with Davevandyk's bag as well followed up by the Saint's most likely. But for now i'm happy with my own!

I wouldn't dare post what I have in the bag..... Geoff would fall off his bloody chair lauging his head off.... I can guarantee you he would be able to stay away from these even if I were giving them away!

Don't care, love me TM Bubbles and will never get rid of them! Now Drivers is another matter, I have changed every year for the past 7 years and this is the first year I am sticking with the same driver (TM R7), at least for the start of the year

You shouldn't be afraid! It only matters if you like what's in your bag. I'm playing supersteels i bought of simmer a few years ago, and I wouldn't trade for anything. Never hit anything more forgiving.

The ones I haven't mentioned are the BB Steelhead F/W metals... 3,5,7,9 ..... I have been called many things for having 7 and 9 woods in the bag.... but I prefer to hit woods to irons..... I just night trade everything in for hybrids!

Thanks Geoff and John for the props. It took me a long time to get the bag i like. Now that i actually got a round under my belt, I can say that it is officially set, other than perhaps an upgraded driver shaft, but considering that its $400US, that might be awhile!!

My bag setup might not look like anything special, but they are solid clubs and I don't have much invested. So it is alllllllllllll goooooooooooooooooooood.
My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

Indio: The BB Steelheads are great fairway woods IMO not sure about the 9 but I have a 7 don't carry it often though. You don't like them?

I absolutely love them, wish every club in my bag was like them..... I get rid of the 3,4 & 5 irons to have them in my bag! But my fellow players love to raz my butt about the 7 and 9 woods.... they always ask if they are women's shafts and call them something that keeps on being censored by the forum filter so I won't mention it ! I don't care if they are junior shafts and pink, they work for me.... I have had a hole in one and 5 eagles on par 4s with those suckers over the past 4 or 5 years so my confidence level is much too high to replace them!

That's all that matters. I really like the 7 wood just lately been hitting my 5 iron well so no real need. Going to start trying to use my 4 iron again as well; the 5 wood is my goto; they are definately nice feeling clubs! Great headcovers too

I too say thanks. I must say Dave you have good taste. Bridgestone rocks...I may take my J33's out and get them dirty... ....but the Z101's are awesome and are in the bag for now.

I know Denny said I have to keep my clubs for a month, but its me, so how about 6 rounds? And I just picked up a Titleist bag. So can I be part of the club now??? Denny can vouch for my sticks, he's seen. They're purdy like all of your guy's clubs. Please let me join.......please.......

I'll let you in, but you don't get the rank of Titleist Man just yet! I think we'll have to start you off with Titleist Apprentice and let you work your way up.

Thought I'd bring this thread back. I think I can officially say I'm in the running for the purdiest bag now:

Driver: Bridgestone J33R 9.5* w/ Accra SC75 M4 (one of, if not, the best looking driver head I've ever seen. Only the R5TP comes close for me.)

Hybrid: Nickent 3DX 17* w/ ST90 steel shaft (about the only sore spot on the eyes, will possibly replace with a Bridgestone J33 5 wd in the new year.)

    Irons: Tourstage TS-201 3-PW w/ DGS300

    Wedges: Tourstage Z Series 52/56/60 w/ DGS300

Putter: Using a Guerin Rife 2 Bar Blade for now (expect a Scotty Phantom Mallet 2 in the new year.)

Bag: Sun Mountain carry bag (not sure of the model, but a very sweet bag.)

Anyone else make any changes to their bags and think it improved the look of their bag? John, I know you have those new TP blades, SWEEEET!!!!!
