    Lightbulb overkill?

On Father's Day, Mark Johnson came to the last nine holes of the Arizona Mid-Amateur with an 11-shot lead. His caddie, son Seth, was celebrating his 14th birthday. Walking with the group was Seth's buddy, 12 year old Derek, who mistakenly took the putter out of Johnson's bag and carried it.

Johnson was disqualified for having two caddies and was unable to receive the Graves Cup which, ironically, bears the name of Robert Graves, the Rules official who initially called Johnson on the infraction.

    I changed my mind...

I was going to write a reply concerning the audacity if the ruling marshall....but

    I agree.

The Rules are the Rules. It is an unfortunate turn of events and I would not likely feel the same way if I were the original winner.

He still knows he won, that still counts for something does it not?
