    Finally got shoes

I've been playing for about 5 years now, and I've finally got my first pair of golf shoes. After using beat up cross trainers for most rounds I can't wait to get out to the course with some actual GOLF shoes. Hopefully they will improve my balance and stability on my relatively high torque swing. Maybe they'll help put me over that threshold and into the 80s.

You should be able to drop 5 strokes with your new shoes!

5 strokes is only if you got some stylin', high-tech shoes.

Bargain jobs from Crappy Tire will cost you 5.

...and blisters, and wet feet, and then you get to buy a new pair next year!

I think 5 strokes for stylin' shoes is pretty conservative though. Regular, waterproof shoes will knock 5 strokes off, but I heard somewhere stylin' shoes are good for about 7-8 strokes

Did you get those all leather Ecco shoes they have on display at Golf Town? You know, the ones in the upper right hand corner of the display, price tag $475. I was shoe shopping yesterday and I almost fainted when I saw that.

Yeah I know, but if I spent 500 bones on golf shoes my wife would do a "Misery" on my legs!

I prefer my sandles.... don't swing as hard at the ball and it leaves nice tan line patterns on my tootsies!

    Ditto here.

I got a pair of the GoreTex Eccos last year, not the $500 stylin' dollar ones, and they are by far the comfiest golf shoes I have ever owned.

If I get three full seasons out of them, money well spent.

I love my Bite sandals too, but get any moisture between your feet and the sandals, and you're swishing around like crazy.

Good thing you got 'em they are no longer on the Ecco USA website so there won't be a lot of 'em around, I also got a pair of orange pants and a Fila shirt with rust trim, just to make the wife when we do couples night at her country club
Mine are from Foot and Sole clinic in North Bay. No florida this year for us.

Oh I know, my wife hates them! I have a bunch of orange polos from Nike and blue shorts... I have size 14 feet too, so they just look extra huge! I got mine from Edwin Watts in Florida.

I bought those shoes when I was in toronto. They were $270+tx but I returned them the following day. I could get 5 lessons for that price. The only problem with those ecco shoes is that you will spend another $400 buying pants, shoes, shirts that match your shoes. The guy in Toronto told me there were only 200 of them made world wide, I've seen these shoes in the following places. Missauga, downtown toronto, Ottawa... They just seem to be everywhere I go so that makes me question that rarity of the shoes. Still, great shoes... I'm a pretty stylish player and would love to get these shoes but I can't pull those shoes off without dropping another 4 bills

seems like everyone and their uncles have those orange shoes, don't seem so limmited edition to me. Glad I returned them. Not spending that much on shoes unless I'm the only one in the wold that has them.

I must admit, a part of me is still sad that I returned them. But how stupid would we have looked when we go to stonebridge when we settle our bet and we show up wearing the same shoes??? notice how I said stonebridge....

I was thinking about getting a pair of these
    Bite Golf Boots
For those rounds in early December, just in case it snows during the back 9
