Are you going to see X-Men
Common, I know a lot of us grew up reading X-Men comics! If only I had saved them all.
I'm going to see the movie today personally.Donny Vantage NFL Guru, since 1974

I would have chosen Michael Clarke Duncan to play Juggernaut.

My son will drag me out. Don't mind though. Better than the movies my wife takes me to.

Unfortunately, I only get to the theatre once or twice a year now (compared to once or twice per month before the children) so I'll have to wait for the dvd. I loved the 1st 2 xmen and the 2 spider man movies also. This new xmen movie is directed by the director of rush hour and rush hour 2, so be warned. However, I heard it was pretty good.
Side note: Scotty Cameron, that pic in your av looks a lot like my daughter: she has the same sunglasses. I am going to have to get a pic of her in them, and update my av.

Can't wait to see it but i'm a little disappointed as to what X-Men they are bringing in. I wanted to see Colossus in his full glory and i was psyched for Gambit as well but they cut him from the flick.

OH MY GAWD! Just got back from the 10am showing at South Keys. Amazing! Absolutely amazing. Rebecca Romjin is hot, green, blue, whatever! And Phoenix, she is one baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad cookie! I'd see it again. If you want to know more info, PM me, don't want to spoil it for anyone!!

And people say I have a cushy job. Let me get this straight, you 1) Visit a local golf online forum everyday 2) Play golf some of those days and 3) Go and see 10AM movie showings.

The party is almost over Geoff, I have to go back to work in June part time and then full time in July.
Go play some football for a few years and your body will fall apart too, then you can have some time off! I wouldn't take back anything, but it would be nice to still have my health.

I didn't like it as much as the others ... felt like they rushed everything.
Not saying ti was bad, but they did roll through the story line very quickly.
Looking forward to the 'spin offs' (Wolverine and Magneto movies)
p.s. Donny, did you stick around until after the credits to catch the bonus scene ...
mini spoiler alert
--------------------------
Why did Juggernaut get KO'd against the wall, I wouldn't really consider him a mutant since he got his power from the Gem of Cyttorak ... 'course that's just the tip of the iceberg w/ WTF moments in that movie.Last edited by Nat Williams; 05-29-2006 at 08:23 AM.

You're right in that it was rush rush, they could have easily made it more then two hours. I didn't know about the bonus ending until the night after, I was ticked!!!!
Nat, did you get anything in your eye at one point, that made you get a tear or two?Donny Vantage NFL Guru, since 1974

I shed tears of joy when they deviated from the actual story line and killed my most hated character
Not gonna ruin it for ppl that haven't seen it, but for those that have, he/she is killed very early on and has very little screen time ... I was annoyed at the story line change, but very happy to find out that he/she would not be there for the rest of the movie
p.s. Donny do you know what happened after the credits? pm if you don't. As long as you know what happened you aren't mising any footage, it's like 5 seconds long.NCGT Ryder Cup Team Green (06,07,08)
