Reshafting Callaway woods ...
A couple of questions :
- Can anyone recommend someone local (ie - Ottawa) who can pull/reshaft Callaway drivers at a reasonable cost? My usual suspects are either staying away from the bore-thru woods or charging an unattractive premium.
- I have a Mercury Pro-Kevlar shaft that I installed in one of my back-up drivers last summer as an experiment (one of many experiments). I liked the shaft alot but the driver still didn't thrill me. I didn't tip-trim the shaft when I did this install (just butt-trimmed to an appropriate playing length). I'm considering trying this shaft in a Callaway Great Big Bertha II 415 driver as another experiment (I like the GBB II but the factory shaft is suspect ...). I'm assuming that since I didn't tip the shaft last time, I can go ahead with the install and use a butt-extender to get to an appropriate playing length without significantly affecting the performance of the shaft. Am I correct or am I missing something?
Any input/advice appreciated.

the nice thing about golftown is that if they screw up, they'll likely set you with a brand new club...
