I hate everything about the Leafs, but their fans are loyal beyond comprehension. There's no other team that's close. It's easy for Habs fans to be loyal given the history of success.

As a Sens fan I agree 100%. Leaf fans are definately loyal fans.
Who else in their right mind would pay THAT much $$$$ for tickets to see a team play that bad, year after year.I've spent most of my life golfing .... the rest I've just wasted"

Habs for sure!
Even years of sucking cannot deter fans from packing the building.Dirty...Mean...And Mighty Unclean.

How can you compare the Leafs years of sucking, HORRIBLY, to the Habs years of sucking??? The Habs win cups sometimes.

there is something like a 30year waiting list for season tickets to the leafs... I would have to say them. They are the richest team in the NHL. I live in toronto and live downtown and their regular season wins are celbrated on the streets by fans and on the subway as well... in the plays they are completely out of control (in a good way). Its pretty amazing....

They're not on the list, but I'd say Ranger fans are pretty hardcore. And as a Hab fan, I can say that a lot of Habs fans are pretty fickle when it comes to the down years. Especially when the Molson Centre first opened and they weren't that great, there'd be 2-3000 empty seats. Maybe fickle isn't the right word, until recently we've been very spoiled. It's been pretty easy to be a Habs fan.

Devils fans are up there...at least in the world of seinfeld.
Elaine: "you painted your face"
Putty: "ya, that's right. gotta support the team. GO DEVILS"

Bah, I'm not a fan of rangers fans. They don't show respect for their oponents. Just a couple days ago, when they were playing Philly, RJ Umburger (a flyer) got hit from behind by a Ranger and was down for a while. What did the rangers fans do when he finally got up and skated to the dressing room? they booed him. They get a big thumbs down in my book.

Yup I agree with everyone on this one.. I'm a leaf fan.. grew up just outside of toronto in Brampton.. born a leaf fan.. will die a leaf fan even though I live in ottawa now.. hard to live this year in ottawa as a leaf fan with such a horrible season for us and the sens having a record book season (which they'll lose out in the first round anyway) ..
go leafs go..... golfing.. then come back next year.. heheheScott - Golf...Fail.

Unfortunately I have to agree with those that say the Leafs. They are die-hard and seriously, no joke, the fans in an exhibition game at the ACC I saw are almost as loud if not louder than the crowd at a Sens playoff game ( and I've been to a dozen playoff games). I wish Sens fans were half as lively.
What upsets me is that once the Sens eventually falter down the road, I can see lots of fans jumping off the bandwagon.
I for one am one of those guys that has a good night when the Sens win and the Leafs lose.

I would say, Winnipeg and Quebec. You get shaft*d and you keep on supporting the league.

Leaf fans, and I am a former leaf fan, are the most loyal fan in hockey for sure. 40 years without a cup-win, and you still can't get into TO to see a hockey game.
Thanks for the screen-time.

Hands down the Leafs! Where else do they bash the coach, the GM, the players, the Zamboni driver but still manage to pack the place to the rafters every game.....
