Headcover matching?

Does a headcover have to match the club? Over the winter, I bought a used 19* hybrid, Infiniti CBG35 without a headcover. At a local Sportchek store, they are selling various headcovers for $6.99 each....found two covers that are stitched "19*" that will probably fit my Infiniti....one is a Dynatour; the other is an Adam Tight Lies GT. My chances of finding an Infiniti headcover are pretty slim....too cheap to get one shipped. Not even sure how well I like the Infiniti since it remains untried. Comments?

Im not sure what to say here. Of course a headcover doesn't HAVE to match a club!! No one else but you knows what the club is so i don't understand what kind of difference it could make. Most guys like their headcovers to match their clubs but i know alot of people who don't have em.

You just want to make sure that you have some kind of headcover to protect the woods/hybrids, it's up to you what kind of headcover you want. I purposely don't have matching headcovers on most of my stuff because I don't want anyone to have a menu if they decide my bag looks like some kind of all you can steal buffet.

Since I don't have a trunk for my clubs (I have a compact pickup truck with an extended cab and an alarm system), I think that I will spend a few bucks to get non-brand name headcovers for my driver, 3 wood and hybrid (and a putter when I get one). The TaylorMade HC for my 3 wood is looking ragged anyway. Thanks for the replies.

I put bland non-descript head covers on my clubs (as long as they protect them properly). To me the fancy colourful head covers (TM's come to mind) just seem like big neon signs saying "come here and take ME"!
