Allready started shovelling an area to set up my net in the yard.

This has been one of the easiest winters in general, in a long time. However I cannot remember a bigger excitement for the season to get the heck here. I can just imagine, the checklist of tees balls etc in bag, waiting by first tee, smell of grass in air, first butterflies teeing off.

I was out swinging my 7-iron in my driveway the other day. Course it was still too icy and I fell on my ass, but what the heck! It felt good to be swinging the club.

I drove a dozen balls in to the field behind my house on Sat. with my new driver and pitched and chipped for an hour in the backyard on Sunday afternoon when the Sun finally came out.

It was glorious to be swinging outside again!

I just got back from myrtle beach and was thinking of wasting my vacation days and maxing my credit card to get back again before the season starts!!! I can't even wait three freakin weeks!!! It's a disease

I'm going crazy waiting also. I had to bring my wiffle golf balls and my driving mat to the school a few weekends ago (I'm a teacher and have a key) and scatter them around the gym. Wish I had a few of the kids with me to go get them for me.

Note to self: buy more wiffle golf balls.
