Thanks Andre! Some nice stuff there. You appear to be on the pulse of such sales. If you see their chop saw/sander combo go on sale let me know .

What he said... I'm getting sick of using a pipe cutter.

Thanks for posting a link to the GW sales. Although I'm not sure why GW thinks $0.11 off of a $4 grip is a big sales event

You're right about the 0.11. I used a pipe cutter for years and when I bought the chopsaw/sander combo I asked myself why I waited so long. The pipe cutter became really tough when I started frequency matching shafts.

For sure. In the mean time you can turn your grinder(if you have not already done so) into a chop saw

Hey Andre. Thanks for the info. That would work too, but I kinda have my heart set o the combo LOL!
Actually already have a complete shop set up at a buddy's place with chop saw, sanders, swingweight scale, loft/lie machine etc. When I have major clubwork to do I just go over there.
I also have a set up in my own basement workshop at home with SW scale etc that I use for regripping, reshafting, repairs etc. I've just been thinking it would be to have the basic GW sander and chopsaw there too so I can throw away my pipecuttet and Mouse sander for good .
