What driver produced your longest drive?

Seeing with the responses in the "who has the longest drive" thread are piling up, I was wondering what driver each of you respectively were using to produce that longest drive. Just out of personal curiosity.

Mine was with a Tad Moore by Dunlop 10.5* w/stock firm graphite shaft. Wish I could remember more about the driver, but this was about 4-5 yrs ago, and I don't want to try and count how many drivers ago. All I can remember about was at the time it was the driver they promoted for Sean "The Beast" Fister and his long drive competitions. I guess there was something to it.

Longest drives I ever hit were testing the 580XD out in Orleans...thought I was gonna hit the highway

2nd place goes to the Ping G2 I demoed...Played Central 3 (old 12) @ Manderley and dropped it within a few yards of the 150 marker...of course my friend then proceeded to outdrive me by 2 yards w/ his 905 and steal the longest drive prize in the tounrey

side note: we were taking 9i's into the green for the 2nd shot on that par 5, ewe got into 4 feet...and all missed the eagle putt lol

Mine was a Pro Select Black Plasma Ceramic Driver, 46 inches in length.

It had a ceramic coating like sandpaper on face, felt like persimmon when you hit it.
Like alot of crazy people, sold it to try something new, I still with todays improvements in size/technology, do not hit it as far as i did with this club.

    Longest drive

The driver who produce the longest drive for me was my brother who drove all the way from Ottawa to Myrtle Beach. LOL

TM 580xd w/stiff GD Purple Ice

I see 3 votes for the 580xd. Makes me wonder why i don't have one anymore.

Might just have to fix that.

308 yds with a Lotus with a 45 inch steel shaft (True Temper Dynamic Gold S300)

The driver head is SUPER cheap, and in fact part of a "box" set ($170 full set of clubs and bag + $25 to reshaft the driver).
    Back at it.

Mine was with a Taylor Made Burner steel 10.5* with the stock R flex steel shaft. Today I consistently hit good drives with my Ashton MS-5 HW 10.5* with an SKFiber LR-I stiff at 44".

Would you believe mine was with a Prince Ripstick 10*? At Orchard View in Leamington I pounded one off the first tee, bounced it off the green (about 300 out?) and then another 30 yards past and OB. I've not flown a ball 300 before or since. I've hit drives past 300 with roll the odd time, but never on the fly. Oh yeah, I hit the provisional into a fairway bunker at around 225 yards, made a 10.

On your 3 wood, really? I am thinking of getting an Accra HF or a Tour series T70 on my 3 wood but didn't know how the Tour series played as fairway shafts. Did Artisan do that for you?

Take a look at my swing and follow through from just a couple years ago. Please look especially at the shaft after I have hit the ball. You guys have a lot of catching up to do.Hmm that reminds me of another post

Longest drive ever was with a Wilson Deep Red 9.5* with stock stiff graphite shaft but I think it hit something real hard on the ground to go that far. (hit pin high on Meadows East 5...)

But aside from that one, my longest drive was with a Ping Si3 9* with a Speeder 757 Stiff shaft. My wife made me sell it for $40...

I get consistent good results now with my Cleveland Comp 460 9.5*, with the stock stiff Fujikara shaft.

For me it is a toss up between Golfsmith T-600 on a Fuji Shaft and The Raven TM4300 on an excelsior shaft.

I would say the TM is longer but I also think my swing is better today.

You won't believe me when I tell you, but it's the gods honest truth I swear.

Callaway BB Warbird 11° with the stock M-10 steel shaft. I used to de-loft so much at impact, ala CH III and Sergio, and before I messed up my lower back, I could generate a heinous amount of clubhead speed.
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

Easily the Bang 525 I was using for Long Drive a few years ago. It was a 7.5* with a 47" Penley LD shaft. Also had a Bang 5.5* PT with a 52 inch XXX Penley LD shaft that may have been even longer but was virtually uncontrollable.
Finally cracked the 525, plus it would be illegal now anyways since the 460cc size limit came into effect. Quite frankly, it was too long.
