Turning a putter into a belly putter??

Is this possible? I remember looking at the phantom mallet last year and but I wanted it in belly so I tried to order it but they didn't make it. They tried to get one custom made but scotty wanted $5,000 for it. Needless to say I didn't go for it. Is it possible to take a putter, get a 10" ext. put on it and then have the lie changed? But I'm getting it changes the wieghting of the club and all the r&d put into making that putter.

Any thoughts on this? If its not a good idea, can anyone recommend a high end putter that comes in belly (not the futura, two ball or voodoo daddy). Thanks

Drink lots of beer & eat lots of chicken wings. Why extend the putter shaft when you can simply extend your belly?

i thought about that but i think I'd rather be in god shape and still have a chance with women not to many girls like a guy who can use a 31" putter as a belly putter

Just buy a putter head that is designed to take a belly shaft. You also need to buy the belly shaft and the belly grip. When you assemble it, make sure you use two-sided belly tape and belly glue. Remove any excess belly glue with belly glue removal goo.

Why do they call these belly putters since the but end is inserted into your clevage and not your belly?

It doesn't insert into your "boobs" it inserts into your belly... 43" would only reach my belly... I think you are talking about sternum putters.

And no, I haven't found anyone who has given me any info on where to get this done, or what kind of putter you can do this with or how much it would cost. I wish I could just buy one that like as is.

Diamond has components for many types of belly putters. See below.
