Worst Movie Ever
A spin off of the Best Movie I haven't Seen thread, what is the worst movie you have seen.
When I was working ofr Famous Players in the early 80's, we played Hollywood High Part 2. I hadn't even heard of Part 1! It lasted a week, with less than a dozen people going to see it.It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

Man there are so many!
Based on a cost to profit ratio I'll have to go with Waterworld.
My favourite part of it is the entire planet is supposed to be covered in water yet most of the actors smoke the entire movie. Where did they grow the tobacco?

I haven't seen either one of those movies but the only movie that I have ever walked out on in the middle was "dead men don't wear plaid" with Steve Martin, and normally I enjoy or at least bear his movies.

In regards to expectations vs. results, the worst for me has to be "Two For The Money". just horrible.

The New World with Colin Farrel. I Saw this 2 weeks ago. Too bad I'll never get 3 hrs back. By far the worst movie ever for me.

Purely for expectations/cost versus overall crappiness, I've gotta go for Alexander....there are worse movies...Dude Where's My Car comes to mind...but nobody expected that movie, or made that movie to be good. Seriously...how can you have a three hour, supposed epic about the greatest warrior/military leader EVER, and have only TWO, poorly orchestrated battle scenes

In regards to Alexander - I have to agree. Did anyone else buy that Jolie was his mother? Not too convincing. Neither was Farrel's horrible accent, as his natural Irish drole made its way into too many scenes. Just horrible.

Austin Powers.
And I'm not a miovie snob, I like comedy. I just never got the humour in that movie. Nothing's worse than a bad comedy.

Geez no one has mentioned showgirls. That was a horrible movie. Don't let the T&A cloud your judgement.

and "Alcoholics", i think that was the only time I've ever stopped a movie an hour in, brought it back to the video store the same night and asked to get something else instead...

Once saw a movie with my fiance (now wife - the things we do) called Beloved. Oprah was in it. Brutal.

master and commander was pretty good, in my opinion, and american pie bad camp doesn't count...anything that skips straight to videoo isn't acutally a movie
