Not particulary, It took me a long time to find that grip and I paid a fortune for it. haha....but if anyone was willing to pay what i put into then I would sell it..haha

We gotta be careful here...a "for sale" sign does not constitute an auction but rather a notification that an item is for sale....there's a big difference. My opinion is that this is would be similar to a seller asking someone to make a fair offer.

Should PM's be banned since that is a tool that many of us (including me)use to make offers to sellers?

Dan, we've always applied the rule as if one must post a price. The theory being that if you are asking for offers and selling to the highest bidder, that is essentially an auction. Therefore we've always required a price be posted on something for sale.
The exception has always been only on items that one is interested in trading.
Just the way it has been... . I think for the most part we've applied it consistently.
However I do appreciate your comments.
