    Lightbulb Links 2001

Does anybody here play Links 2001 online?? If so, I'd like to maybe arrange some online golf games. I play fairly often and I'm not too bad at it. If you play the game, PM me and we can hit the Links......

Shtick, that would also mean that Tiger ain't too bad at golf either... sounds like the Links shark is on the prowl for another victim...

You're just too good for me man.

My guess would be that Shtick hasnt played golf in a while and the only part that doesnt hurt is his "mouse" finger.

I haven't designed any courses for the game (too time consuming).

    nice_lag:

    I only hustle at pool.....

    Steve:

It's been 2 months that I couldn't play golf on a real course.... I wasn't allowed to do very much (physically) so I wasn't left with many options.

    em69:

I'll take you up on that one. My zone name is The_Shtick (naturally)..... see you there!

MS Links 2001 - Glen Abbey Course

Found a download of Glen Abbey by Len Kroese for Links 2001.
He did a pretty good job from what I remember. Its great to play courses that you have played in real life. Brought back alot of memories, and would love to play that course again. If you download it, look at the tee blocks for the 11th hole. One of the nicest views & holes in golf.

    Dan:
How do you capture a screen shot?

    Glen Abbey - 11th hole

    Thanks Dan
I was able to save a great screen shot of the 11th tee, over looking the valley with the Toronto Skyline in the background.
Its about 130 foot drop down to the fairway. A great hole.

Yup. I hope you got the fall version, it is prettier than the summer one.

Be sure to play the back tees - Sam has decided to put the tees all the way back on #10 every day. Takes all the excitement out of that great match play hole.

I know. I was watching that of the Golf Channel also. It’s too bad. Drivable par 4's are always exciting for the audience (especially in Match Play). Sam says its because it’ll give the US an advantage because they have a little more distance then Europe. I remember that hole well; at the Golf-O-Max I scored an eagle (2) on it. I sank a 95-yard wedge (had to lay up from the back tees there also).
