- one of the best goalies of all time between the pipes
- more points than the've ever had at this point in the season
- 3 players in the top-20 in scoring
- 8 consecutive winning seasons
- 1 Presidents trophy (I believe that was the year they almost went bankrupt)
- picked by every major sports news outlet to win the cup this year

I've followed the Leafs faithfully for more than 30 years. I've seen some of the worst hockey imagineable (including this year). I was 6 months old the last time they won the cup! I've lived through Ballard, Stavros, and now the MLSE & the Ontario Teachers Pension Fund doing their best to screw this franchise into oblivion. If anyone has a reason to be angry, it's me! But I'm still here, win or lose.

You're very lucky to have an ownership group and a team that wants to win. Don't knock it!

Do the stats mean anything if you do not have the grace of touching lord Stanley....numbers are just keeping statisticians emplyed and give Pierre McGuire something to make him sound as awesome as he thinks he is. They are close to 500 in the last 10, they are not displaying champion talent.

I am just venting a bit, can't a guy vent. The really crapped the bed the last few weeks.....
