    Yessireee! 10 years ago, March 16th, 1996 I registered the domain after a very exciting exhibit at the Ottawa Golf and Travel Show, where I had a half booth. At the time of that first show, the site had basic features for 6 courses and was hosted on my personal webspace. We handed out paper slips with the address, synapse.net/~dkilbank

    Funny thing is that I wasn't sure what to call the site. I thought I needed something catchier than just OttawaGolf.com I'm glad I "settled" for the boring but valuable domain.

    Wow, 10 years already! I remember receiving one of those original paper slips at the 1996 OG&T show. Very classy as I recall...

    I hope you have many more years left in ya!!...I haven't started to make you senior clubs yet..Ha Ha.

    On a serious note. It is nice to see a small business like yours contribute so much to the community with your generous efforts to raise money for charitys.

    Personally as a small company I also have raised alot of money for CHEO and your help in promoting my long drive events has really helped towards meeting these goals.

    It is something that really many people do not know how much work and effort goes into this unless they have done it themselves.

    For this I thank and salute you and your co-workers.

    May your business be just as successful as you are as a person and a friend.

    This remind me three great things happened to me back in 1996....
    1. Started reading the Ottawagolf forum.
    2. Started playing golf (broke 120 I believe).
    3. Got married to my HS sweetheart (well we both went to Glebe C.I).

    Sorry, just thought I share this, since I've just been reminded of our 10th annivesary (while loging in at my favourite site)
