104 days til I get to Myrtle. The good news is i'll likely get in a few rounds here before going so I can hopefully get the rust off.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I'll be golfing Friday in San Antonio!

Damn you Colby!!!! Have fun anyways, I'm sure you'll feel real bad thinking about all your friends back at home in the snow wishing they were golfing. Well if not at least I put the thought in your head.

Hey I hit golf balls in Toronto last weekend in a tee shirt. I know it's not San Antonio but it sure felt nice to see that ball fly. I don't care how long the indoor range is it's just not the same. I wish they had resonable flights to Myrtle Beach. I'd take a weekend off.

Andru, judging by comments on GEA you don't have to go that far south. People are playing in NJ and Maryland. And jealous I am.

Well I've got a tee time in about an hour here in Florida and an early morning time tomorrow. Stopped at a couple of municipal courses on the trip down. Here for a month so should get a bunch in. Sunny, no wind and about 21C here right now.
Oh I won't rub it in but may let you know how the courses are.

Or even direct flights to Raleigh like they used to. Myrtle is only a few hours from there!

Colby.
Yes. It's a real pain for trevellers from Ottawa. Myrtle would do SOOOO well if it was more convenient to get there. Listen I don't like spending that much time in a car. It's a whole day wasted. $300 return it perfect. I'd do it in a second.

Hey Colby, does Lake Chesdin worth the drive? How's the temperature/course like in early March? How long does it take to get there from Ottawa?
-
02-01-2006 01:54 PM #23
Chesdin is a 10-2 hour drive depending on the route/speed. The course will be a bit brown around the edges, due to dormant grass, but when we played it early last February, it was very playable, so early March should be just fine.
