New Mexico Golf
I will be travelling to Albuquerque NM this fall and would like to know of any nice (and reasonably priced) courses in the area. Maybe web sites to check out before I go. Thanks:

Pinon Hills - Farmington NM
You absolutely have to play Pinon (pronounced Pin-yon) Hills Golf Club in Farmington.
It's about 200 miles NW of Albuquerque. It's the local "municipal" course. I use quotes around the word "municipal" because its not your average muni. This course was voted the #1 new public course in the US when it opened back in the mid 90's. It's 7250 yds from the tips, and is in better condition than a lot of so called private clubs I've played at.
The green fees are so low its hard to believe, and from what I saw on the NM Golf website the fees are still the same as they were 5 or 6 years ago. $15 during the week, and $18 on the weekend!! Imagine playing Eagle Creek or The Marshes for what you'd pay to play at Thunderbird.
An absolute must play if you're in the area.
Have fun.
