    Clubmaking courses

I just thought I would pass along this information for those of you who might be interested in clubmaking courses. Here is the Golfworks schedule for the upcoming year.

    2006 School Schedule

    ASSEMBLY AND REPAIR SCHOOL:
A two-day, hands-on program where the student performs all of the steps in assembling golf clubs and learns the procedures for common repairs and alterations of contemporary golf clubs.
In additional to the mechanical procedures, the student also learns the important theory behind golf club assembly and alterations; matching shaft flex and performance, custom grip fitting, swingweighting, and other tricks of the trade.

    School dates:
    March 16-17
    May 4-5
    September 28-29
    October 16-17
    Course fee $295.00 plus GST

    FITTING, ASSEMBLY AND REPAIR SCHOOL:
This is an intensive four-day program designed to cover the design principles of golf club components, modern fitting and assembly techniques of custom club making.
This presentation involves lectures, slides, textbook, team exercises, practical demonstrations, and personal swing testing and club fitting.
All assembly techniques covered in the Assembly Repair School will be covered in this school as well.

    School dates:
    March 7-10
    April 18-21
    October 3-6
    November 7-10
    Course fee $590.00 plus GST

Space for these schools is limited. Please sign up early to avoid missing out.

Has anyone here taken either of these two courses? If so, was it worth it? I assume its two 8 hour days. Can you provide any info as to your experiences, disappointments etc?
I will likely sign up as I am interested in pursuing the clubmaking hobby.
    Thanks
