Big Break V Survivor Pool
I've started a Big Break V Survivor Pool up on the National Capital Golf Tour site, http://www.nationalcapitalgolftour.c...4/Default.aspx
To play, you need to register on the site, and then have your team created and your first entry made before the first show that airs on February 7th at 9PM. It's a standard Survivor Pool in which for every elimination sesssion on BBV, you pick someone who will NOT be eliminated. If the person you select is eliminated, you are out of the pool.
It's free to join, and there are no prizes as of yet, I'm trying to find some, so it's really just for bragging rights.
Let the best man's woman win!It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

I tried to register, but it kept asking me for $59 to join.
I must be doing something wrong?
I know logically that there wouldn't be a $59 charge to joing a 'free' pool.
Please advise. C

$59 to join?
You used the link above?
You have to register on the NCGT site, then go to the Big Break V Survivor Pool page, under Silly Season, and create your entry.
nwilliams, did you have anything like this show up?It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

To register for the BBV Survivor Pool, do the following:- If you have not already registered on the NCGT site, you must do so. You can do this by either clicking on the Register link, located immediately to the left of the current Date, and just right and below the Contacts menu item, or by clicking on the Login link, top right, and clicking on Register.
- Once you are verified, you will be sent an email with your verification code, log into the NCGT web site
- Go to the BBV Survival Pool link, found under the Silly Season menu item, or by following the link above and enter your team name, and then make your first selection.
I hope this helps. It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

Shhhhhhh. That money goes in to the LobWedge Golfs for Free fund...
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

I did click on the register link. I got a message saying in order to enter this pool you must be a fully registered member. Membership is $59 annually...etc etc..blah..blah.
I tried several times. My slowly turning grey hair used to be blonde....but....?

Now ok...somebody had to do something?? cuz now the link takes me to a simple easy registration page.
Although I even screwed that up.
Added an extra letter cuz the info fields cut out the first letter.
Thought it was missing a letter on my email field, so it promptly told me a verification code was being sent to____@yahoo.com
Unfortunately that email doesnt exist?
Sent admin a plea for help or an end to my suffering, just end it...damn u all to hell u damn dirty apes!!!

Thanks to all for their help getting this 'blonde' into the fun pool.
I am registered, named my team and made my pick.
Should help break up the dreary weather and add some fun, thanks for creating it.

OK folks. I cleaned up the Registration page, so it should be simple to register on the site. There's only 5 of us right now, so...
Without finding any other prizes, I will be donating a box of ProV1's to the winning person. If there are ties, I will cross that bridge when and if it comes. Hopefully I can dig up some more prizes.

Today is the last day to sign-up for this. There are only 7 teams registered, so there is a very good chance to finish in first and win the box of ProVs, or another type of ball if you don't like ProVs. You have to get you team registered before the start of the show tonight!

I watched some of the audition tapes at golf channel, and its funny, the girl I picked, at least for this week is Ashley. She was the only one I didn't like, came across a little too aggressive, but then again, good for making it thru.

I truly enjoyed the show. Complained like a whiny dog about dragged out boring big break europe, but really enjoyed everything about the episode tonite.
The player I quickly thought might win it all, gets kicked off in first show, didn't see that coming."Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual"

It was just a downhill slide for her after not finishing off the glass competition. But hey, that's golf.

Nikki will be the next to go for sure, not enough tournament experience and it seems the others already don't like her (it is TV though). She sure hit her 3 wood long the second time around in the elimination too.
