    Best Score on Simulator!

    Wow, i just played Golf - o -MAX where i golfed to the max!

    We played without any gimmies.

    We had major wind turned on.

    I shot a 66!

    Now my best score on a real course is 99?????


    WHAT GIVES!!!!


    HERE IS TO WINTER NEVER LEAVING! I JUST WANNA PLAY SIM ALL DAY LONG! EASY MONEY!

    Our last Cleaners game Sphere Hunter shot a 62 and myself I was 64. And we had a significant amount of wind on as an option. Sims fill the void for a couple of months but just doesn't compare to the real thing though.

    Played the new software yesterday. Very nice graphics, and the setup and aiming systems are much easier to use than Version 2. Forgiveness was about the same as Version 2 (which is much less than the old software), but putting and chipping were tougher. On the old software I can make almost everything under 20 feet, but on the new software even the 10-footers are tough. I normally shoot around par on the old software, and shot an 81 yesterday.

    What gives? ITS NOT REAL GOLF! Its a computer game. And most sims in Ottawa are not very realistic. GolfOMax is good and the Full Flite sims at Pineview are great. Play4Par in Kanata is pretty good but their sensors are in a weird spot and don't pick up the club very well. For those who have experienced the never curving shots in Bells Corners, enough said.

    I find Bent Grass in Bells Corners to be the best for the simple reason that you actually putt to a hole. Graphics are not as good as some but the putting is more life like.
