Accra shafts
Does somebody know where i can buy one of those, without installation, at a good price? I'd like to buy a Accra tour shaft.
Thank you

From the several companies that i have dealt with, most you have to have them install the shaft for you, i believe its a warranty thing. I am not sure where in France, but i know that GolfWorks sells them in Ottawa. I know a couple dealers in the US also, so if Golfworks doesn't work for you, PM and i can get contacts in the US for you.

You can't buy the shaft unless you get a used one from Ebay or a local shop that has a pulled one. UST/Accra dealers must install the shaft because of the warranty and apparently there are very strict trimming instruction that differ from other shafts in order to have it perform to their specs.

Ok, then i won't buy one of those.... It's becoming disturbing that companies are starting to ask for installation, Fujkikura and true temper for his Tour concept. I'll change my mind then, and they've lost a customer as far as i won't send my clubs over there.

Accra shaft
You should'nt take it like that as Accra is one of the best shaft on the market and they do that for warranty reason, they make sure that the shaft is installed properly and that it performs the way it is supposed to do. Lots of tour guys are using the Accra shaft and until you've tried one, you don't know what you are missing. The dispersion is tight with those shaft and once you go Accra that's all you'll want in your clubs. Try to find a good clubmaker in your area who is Accra certified and go try some before you judge the company.
Thanks
Claude

Thank you, but here in France, i don't think i'll be able to find accra shaft. I've had many driver shafts, Speeder 757, Diamana 73, I was thinking about getting an Accuflex Evolution, changed my mind, i now got a NV 75, i love it, but i think there is "the shaft" waiting for me out there. Accra looked cool , as i love active tip, really hate Proforce tips, my clubmaker got some free Royal Precision Saber graphote shafts, but don't want to spend money on a shaft i don't know at all.
