I sincerely hope that this holiday season (regardless of your faith, or absence thereof) finds you and your family in the best of spirits, and most importantly, full of joy and love.

With thought to love, we can accomplish what governments cannot, which is rebuilding humanity. It's the solution that every idealistic 8-year old can teach us.

Please, be kind to kids in particular, especially those who suffer from severe illness or disability. Spend at least one dollar on someone you don't know, and you'll have done more than most - more than they have now...

Heatley, Hossa, Havlat, Hasek aside, our arguments about sports are trivial compared to the fights faced by many children, both sick or simply victims of their circumstances at birth. We OWE them, if nothing else, our thoughts and (if applicable) our prayers.
